The Dark Knight Rises

This movie was AWESOME. I CAN'T WAIT to see it again. It has a GREAT storyline/plot, GREAT acting, and GREAT action. Anne Hathaway is the best Catwoman EVER. This movie ended The Dark Knight Trilogy PERFECTLY. The Dark Knight Trilogy is the BEST comic book trilogy EVER. Now while The Dark Knight Rises doesn't top The Dark Knight it's certainly just as good as The Dark Knight. Any fan of The Dark Knight is going to LOVE The Dark Knight Rises. This movie is DEFINITELY the BEST movie of summer 2012 maybe even the year. 10 out of 10.

The Avengers

It's about 3:15am and I just got back from seeing The Avengers and this movie is the perfect way to start your summer movie season. That is if you love Comic Book movies. If you didn't like any of the other Marvel movies leading up to this one(Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America) then stay clear of this one. The action in this movie is INSANE and the dialog between Avengers is just as good if not better than the action sequences. It was really fun watching The Avengers interact with each other. The set pieces are gorgeous and the CGI is top notch. I saw it in 3D and if you like 3D than definetly spend the extra few bucks to do so.This movie was well worth the wait. Even though I'm really tired right now if I could I'd watch it again. This movie is a definite Blu-Ray purchase for me. 10 out of 10.

American Reunion

8 out of 10. If you're a fan of the series than you'll love this movie. This is the 4th installment of the American Pie series and if you like a good raunchy teen movie than the American Pie series has you're name on it. This movie had everything that the American Pie series is known for including awkward moments that result in hilarity and an awesome 90'soundtrack. I was laughing through pretty much the whole movie. Watch the other movies in the series before watching this one if you haven't already cause a lot of the jokes refer to the other movies. 8 out of 10.

The Hunger Games

10 out of 10. The Hunger Games is a Sci-Fi Drama with enough action to keep even the most hardcore action junkies entertained. This movie was sooooooooooooo AWESOME that I'm going to read the books and anyone that knows me knows I almost never read. The storyline was gripping and at certain points had me at the edge of my seat. If you like Sci-Fi go see this movies. If you like drama go see this movie. If you have a girlfriend that likes the books take her to go see this movie. Actuaaly if you like movies go see this movie. This is the BEST movie I have seen in a VERY long time. Acting=GREAT Storyline=GREAT The storyline is pretty brutal. It's basically Gladiator but with teenagers. There are 12 districts and every year each district has to offer 1 teenage boy and 1 teenage girl. Tey travel to the capital(where the rich live) and there they are droped into a wide open area where all of them fight to the death and the last one alive wins. Anyways the movie was AWESOME!!! Go see it. 10 out of 10.

(I'm Baaaack!!!)

So it's been about 2 years since my last movie and that's been partly because I was tired of typing these reviews using a Wii controller and partly because there just wasn't a movie out there that excited me enough to spend the time to write a review. I own a computer now though so I'll writing alot more now and not just about movies but also about the video games I play. I'm going to follow this post with a review on The Hunger Games!!!

Devil

9 out of 10. This movie is about 5 people trapped in an elevator and 1 of them them is the devil! This is one of my favorite movies of the year by far because it was creepy, interesting, and it kept me guessing till the end. The plot moves at a steady pace (I wasn't bored for one second). If you like Suspense and Mystery than you will really like this movie! 9 out of 10.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

9 out of 10. This movie is a "basic" love story excect that in order to date the girl of his dreams Scott has to defeat her 7 evil exes. Thats the basic plot of this movie. The fight scenes and very imaginative and the visual style is striking! This movie had no slow parts and the video game references were hilarious. This movie is definitely one of my favorite movies of the summer! 9 out of 10.
